About the Client

For over a century, Hoover has been synonymous with floor care, building its reputation on dependable products for households across the globe.

Challenge

New requirements under Québec’s Bill 96 mandated equal-dominance French and English across Hoover's Canadian packaging. This impacted a large volume of existing SKUs and demanded rapid turnaround, meticulous accuracy, and coordination across multiple teams—while working within legacy files and outdated visual standards.

Solution

I owned the project from kickoff to release, ensuring compliance with Bill 96. I corrected issues from prior iterations—including outdated visual brand language, grammatical errors, and translation inconsistencies.

To streamline future updates, I transitioned the artwork from Illustrator to InDesign, leveraging its superior performance with large files to simplify future revisions. I managed multiple rounds of internal and external reviews, incorporated legal, regulatory, and marketing feedback, and prepared and released final print-ready files under tight timelines.
